Tibet Train

After completion of Qinghai to Tibet railway, Tibet train is formally launched on July 1,2006. It ends the history of the last region without rails in China.
Now there are many passenger trains going to Tibet via Qinghai - Tibet railway which is 1956km in length. Tibet train will go to two sections to reach Lhasa. First section is from Xining to Golmud, and second section is from Golmud to Lhasa.

Tibet train are mainly going to and from the following stations now: Xining, Lanzhou, West Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing.
